Viktoria Nianiou (b. 1991, Lesvos) develops a distinctive visual vocabulary in which horses, swords, stars, suns, and other symbols intertwine. Through open yet familiar compositions, she explores dualities such as freedom and vulnerability, harmony and struggle, strength and serenity. Her practice revolves around travel, landscape, and the notion of the exotic—shaped by her roots in Lesvos and her time in South America and Spain.
Nianiou holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Granada and has also studied in Peru, following her MSc in Civil and Structural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. She lives and works in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
