Opening Saturday, 14 March, 7–9pm
Living between London and the Cotswolds, daily walks in nature have become central to Mahboubian’s practice, a ritual that shapes moments of contemplation. Reflections bridges places and landscapes, featuring unique Polaroids and photographic compositions created during the artist’s residency in Volos (Autumn 2025), alongside works made in the UK countryside and beyond.
Mahboubian traces subtle shifts in light and atmosphere, allowing rhythm to guide the images and wandering to become a form of reflection. Suspended between place and presence, the exhibition holds a quiet sense of stillness and timelessness.
Cyrus Mahboubian (b. 1986, London, UK) is a visual artist working with analogue photography, particularly Polaroid. His practice explores the human condition in an era increasingly shaped by digital technology, focusing on our relationship with nature and time. He lives and works between London and Oxfordshire.
